so today we were talking about wearing a mask and how lonely it is... and while my mind was just wandering off i thought of something really crazy!
We know that there is a book that comes before Huckleberry Finn and its about Tom Sawyer.
What if Mark Twain thought of the two characters to be the same person but with different personalities and "wearing a mask". A type of schizophrenia or something... i know its pretty far fetched but it could be possible...
Natasha, this idea is really exciting! I think you'll see why as you read ahead....Huck and Tom, two sides to the mask....which is the easier mask to wear?
ReplyDeleteI actually really like this idea. At the begging of the book I was thinking the same thing its like they're brothers but even closer than that, like the same person...
